MyNextCoffeeBot

My Next Coffee helps coffee drinkers find coffees that match their taste — and sends them to the roaster to buy. To do that, our bot reads roasters' public shop listings.

What it reads

• Your public product list (for Shopify shops, /products.json) and each coffee's product page.
• Only facts: the coffee's name, your tasting notes, origin, process, roast level, price and whether it's in stock.
• We never copy your descriptions or photos. Every coffee on our site credits you and links straight to your product page.

How it behaves

• It follows robots.txt, including rules for MyNextCoffeeBot by name.
• It reads one page at a time with a pause between each, and re-reads a shop about once a day to keep prices and stock current.

Saying no, or correcting something

To stop us, add User-agent: MyNextCoffeeBot / Disallow: / to your robots.txt, or email us — we'll take your coffees down. To fix a listing or tell us more about a coffee, email us too; roasters who claim their listing can keep it up to date themselves (coming soon).
